UPDATE:  We are currently unable to ship to PO Boxes or mixed number/letter street addresses to the USA at this time.  Please ensure that your address meets these requirements prior to submitting your order.

CANADA POST UPDATE:  Canada Post is currently on strike which has halted all Canadian, UK, and Australian shipping at this time. We are currently searching for alternate shipping providers to cover these jurisdictions that are within our shipping parameters.  
We ask for your patience at this time while we navigate this new complication.

PLEASE NOTE that our boxes ship approximately 90 days from the close of the preorder!  Each product listing has an approximate ship date listed in the description.  Please be mindful of these dates when ordering.


The Midnight Bookshelf proudly ships with both Canada Post and Purolator via ground services. Please refer to your tracking email to confirm which shipper. 

Every order will receive a tracking number with their confirmation email that the order has shipped.

Efforts will be taken to ensure that your books are protected from the elements during shipping.

Shipping fees are added to the cost of the book box on checkout.  Every country has a flat fee shipping rate. 

Canadian or USA cities/states/provinces that do not have ground shipping available will be subject to any additional fees incurred by alternate shipping methods.

The Midnight Bookshelf cannot be held liable for any delays in transit or damage once your package is out of our possession.

The Midnight Bookshelf is not responsible for any duties or import taxes/charges owed/payable to receive your books to your chosen shipping address. Should you refuse to pay any issued import taxes by an agency delivering your package, and your box is subsequently returned to us, we will NOT be refunding your order. These charges are your responsibility as importer.

With respect to the imposed tariff charges at the USA border we are now including a Certificate of Origin with each Purolator shipped order.  Our paperback books are USMCA compliant and these tariff charges should be waived.  Any other duties or import taxes/fees owed/payable will still continue to be the receivers responsibility.
